Terms and conditions
Version effective from: 17. 9. 2026 · Solidus Tech s.r.o., IČ 29450837
How purchasing works
- You send a non-binding inquiry. This creates neither a purchase contract nor an obligation to pay.
- Within two business days we send you a quotation with the final price including shipping, the delivery time and the validity of the quotation.
- You confirm the quotation in writing by e-mail. The purchase contract is concluded only by that confirmation.
- We send you a confirmation and an invoice.
Prices in the catalogue are indicative, excluding VAT and shipping — this also applies to partner prices after logging in. Only the price stated in the quotation is binding.
1. Introductory provisions
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) are issued by Solidus Tech s.r.o., registered office at Na poříčí 595, 738 01 Frýdek-Místek, Czech Republic, Company ID 29450837, VAT ID CZ29450837 (the “Seller” or “we”).
The Terms govern the process of requesting and supplying goods from the catalogue on this website and form an integral part of every purchase contract concluded on their basis. Differing written arrangements in a quotation or contract take precedence over these Terms.
2. The catalogue is not an offer to conclude a contract
The goods shown on this website are a non-binding presentation of our range, not an offer within the meaning of Section 1732(2) of the Czech Civil Code. Information on availability, technical parameters and delivery times is indicative.
Prices in the catalogue are indicative, excluding VAT and excluding shipping. The same applies to partner prices shown after logging in — an inquiry never includes shipping or any additional services. A binding price is communicated only in an individual quotation.
3. Inquiry
By submitting the inquiry form you express interest in the goods. Submitting an inquiry is non-binding — it creates neither a purchase contract nor any obligation to pay, including for logged-in partners. An inquiry may be withdrawn by e-mail at any time before the contract is concluded.
You undertake to provide true and complete information. We may decline an inquiry, in particular where the goods are unavailable, the details are manifestly incorrect, or the form is being misused.
4. Quotation and conclusion of the contract
In response to a duly received inquiry we will normally send you, within two business days, a quotation by e-mail stating the final price including shipping, the delivery time and the period of validity. Unless stated otherwise, a quotation is valid for 14 days from dispatch.
The purchase contract is concluded at the moment you confirm the quotation in writing (by e-mail) without amendment. A confirmation subject to reservations, additions or deviations is treated as a new inquiry and does not conclude a contract. Once the contract is concluded we will send you a confirmation and an invoice.
5. Delivery terms
The place of delivery is the address stated in the confirmed quotation. The delivery period begins on conclusion of the contract or, where an advance payment has been agreed, when it is credited to our account.
The risk of damage to the goods passes to the buyer on taking delivery; where the goods are carried by a carrier and the buyer is an entrepreneur, on handing the goods over to the first carrier for carriage to the buyer. The buyer must inspect the goods on delivery, raise obvious defects or packaging damage with the carrier, and notify us without undue delay.
The goods remain our property until the purchase price has been paid in full.
6. Price and payment terms
The purchase price is the price stated in the confirmed quotation. Unless agreed otherwise, it is paid by bank transfer against an invoice due 14 days from issue. We may require an advance payment for first deliveries and for made-to-order goods.
Late payment gives rise to statutory default interest. Until all due receivables are settled in full, we are entitled to suspend further deliveries.
7. Rights arising from defective performance
We warrant that on delivery the goods are free from defects and correspond to the agreed parameters. The procedure for raising and settling claims is set out in the separate complaints procedure, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Liability for damage
Where the buyer is an entrepreneur, we compensate actual damage up to the purchase price of the goods concerned; we do not compensate lost profit or indirect or consequential damage. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or to harm to health or life. Liability towards a consumer is not limited beyond what the law allows.
9. Consumer buyers
Our catalogue is aimed primarily at businesses. Where the buyer is exceptionally a consumer, the following applies in addition:
- The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of taking delivery without giving a reason; it is sufficient to send the withdrawal within that period to info@solidustech.cz. The goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from withdrawal, and the consumer bears the cost of returning them. We will refund within 14 days, but not before we receive the goods.
- The right of withdrawal does not arise, in particular, for goods customised to the consumer’s wishes.
- The competent body for out-of-court dispute resolution is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 44, 110 00 Prague 1, www.coi.cz.
10. Personal data
How we handle personal data from inquiries and partner accounts is described in our privacy policy.
11. Final provisions
Legal relations are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, in particular the Civil Code (Act No. 89/2012 Coll.). Where the buyer is an entrepreneur, disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the Czech courts determined by our registered office.
We may amend these Terms; the version decisive for each contract is the one in force when the inquiry was submitted. The effective date of the current version is shown in the header of this page, and the version you saw is recorded with every inquiry.
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
This is a translation provided for information purposes. In case of any discrepancy, the Czech version of this document prevails.
