LoRaWAN
LoRaWAN is a wireless network with very long range (units to tens of kilometres) and extremely low power consumption. It operates in the licence-free 868 MHz band, so there are no operator fees — you can build your own network or use a public one.
The ideal choice for wide-area deployment of many sensors: agriculture, smart cities, building monitoring or large sites. Batteries typically last 5–10 years.
