The device is battery powered and the battery life has been optimised by selecting high-quality, very low-power components. More than 5 years can be expected between battery replacements. The enclosure is made of high-quality ABB plastic and was designed to meet high interior design standards. The front panel has a high-gloss finish. IP65 enclosures are available in grey, black or white.
