Calorimeter board
The LPWAN KAMSTRUP Calorimeter board was designed as an add-on board for KAMSTRUP MULTICAL devices. It communicates with the MULTICAL electronics, reads all available register content, packs it into an LPWAN payload and sends it to the application server.

Product description
The LPWAN KAMSTRUP Calorimeter board is powered from the built-in battery of the MULTICAL device, so the overall battery life depends on the number of transmissions per day. We strictly follow a low-power approach — typical sleep current is 5 µA at most. The user selects which registers are read and can reconfigure them remotely over downlink. The board works in two modes: expert mode, where the whole register is included in the payload, and Optimal mode, where the contribution of the selected register is compressed to just 7 bytes to keep the payload short. Because of the strict payload length limit there is no Sigfox version. Message sending can also be triggered by a magnetic contact.
