Special sensor for soil moisture measurement has been used – Watermark which works on principle of water absorption togypsum granulate. This principle eliminates influence of soil salinity or microbiological content. Thermometer is integral part of sensor body, which is very important for further soil moisture calculation. The rod is very robust and made of special fibre carbon material to survive severe condition in outside aggressive environment.
